MIRA-Dashi™ Featured in Japanese Spice Keema, Now Available in Izumisano City

2026.07.31

On July 30, 2026, the Izumisano City Promotion Partnership (ICP) launched Japanese Spice Keema, a new ready-to-eat curry featuring Fuji Oil's plant-based dashi ingredient MIRA-Dashi™ and soy meat.

The product was developed under the supervision of Columbia8, a renowned Osaka-based spice curry restaurant that has been featured in the Michelin Guide Kyoto Osaka for four consecutive years.

Available in Medium Hot and Very Hot varieties, the curry captures the essence of Columbia8's signature keema curry while offering the convenience of a ready-to-eat meal.

By combining the rich umami and depth of flavor provided by MIRA-Dashi™ with the satisfying texture of soy meat, Japanese Spice Keema delivers an authentic spice curry experience made entirely from plant-based ingredients.

This product was jointly planned by ICP and MIRACORE® as part of their ongoing efforts to promote food diversity.

Designed to accommodate a wide range of dietary needs and lifestyles, including vegan, vegetarian, and Muslim consumers, the curry aims to make flavorful food more accessible to everyone.
